   Official transcripts must arrive from the awarding institution by password-protected email or as sealed hard copies. Referees send their own letters. Start both requests early enough to replace a missing or unusable submission.

The Burren is a working research context, not an attractive backdrop. Field activity with local organisations calls for observation, reciprocity and clear authorship. Applicants uncomfortable with weather, rural access or the slower work of relationship-building may prefer an urban interdisciplinary course.

Housing and transport affect field practice directly. The village has limited amenities, BCA describes a 30 minute walk, and the main road lacks pavement and streetlights. Practical fit depends on equipment, evening access and off-campus journeys remaining realistic through winter, rather than on remoteness as a brochure benefit.
