Year-round studio access does not remove rural constraints. Doctoral work may need archives, participants, fabrication or teaching opportunities outside Ballyvaughan. Cost and schedule those journeys across four winters, including housing beyond the September-to-April campus estimate, before claiming the setting suits the method.
