What is CCT MSc Data Analytics?

MSc Data Analytics is a 12 months full-time, NFQ Level 9, 90 ECTS programme in central Dublin. CCT’s public guidance puts tuition at EUR 14,000, about INR 15.37 lakh; the full cost model adds Irish finance requirements and modest insurance, visa and registration allowances below.

It is the most focused quantitative programme in CCT’s current catalogue. Seven taught modules cover programming, statistics, preparation and visualisation, machine learning, research ethics, big-data processing and advanced analysis before a 30 ECTS applied project. CCT’s live intake field currently reads September 2026 listed; live availability unconfirmed. QQI programme PG26650 is validated for first intakes from 1 September 2026 through a last-intake date of 31 August 2031, superseding PG24480. A course form, catalogue line and current QQI validation are separate evidence, and the written offer must identify the award, attendance mode, start date and fee before payment.

PG26650 is a newly revalidated data award whose first intake is September 2026. Its seven taught modules allocate substantial credit to statistics, data preparation, visualisation, machine learning, big-data processing and advanced analysis before the 30 ECTS project. That date boundary matters because evidence from the predecessor curriculum cannot establish delivery or outcomes for this version.

How much does CCT MSc Data Analytics cost for an Indian student?

The full-programme plan is EUR 24,660, about INR 27.06 lakh at the ECB reference rate dated 3 September 2026. It starts with the current CCT fee guidance of EUR 14,000, then adds living-funds, insurance, visa and registration allowances without counting any tuition deposit twice.

ItemINRLocal currencyWhen it is due
Tuition for the programmeINR 15.37 lakhEUR 14,000EUR 14,000 per academic year
Living-funds planning baselineINR 10.97 lakhEUR 10,000EUR 10,000 for each of 1 academic year
Medical-insurance allowanceINR 32,925EUR 300Replace with actual annual policy quotes
Single-entry visaINR 6,585EUR 60At the initial visa application
Immigration registration allowanceINR 32,925EUR 300EUR 300 for each planned registration year
Full-programme planning totalINR 27.06 lakhEUR 24,660Before flights, housing deposits and exchange spreads

The living-funds row is an immigration evidence baseline and remains the student's money. It is neither a payment to CCT nor a promise that Dublin living costs will stay within that sum. Converted at EUR 1 = INR 109.7500 using the European Central Bank reference rate dated 3 September 2026. The euro total is the stable planning figure; bank and card rates will differ.

CCT’s fee page gives EUR 14,000 as the current non-EU offshore MSc guideline. It also tells applicants to contact the college for programme-specific fees. The estimate therefore uses the current published category amount while treating the offer and invoice as binding. It does not assume an unpublished scholarship, discount or application charge.

Tuition across the stated 1 academic year is EUR 14,000. A deposit, if the offer requires one, is a first instalment of that tuition rather than an extra cost. Payment dates, refund deductions and learner-protection arrangements should be read before remittance because cash timing can be as important as the total.

The Irish student-finance rule requires immediate access to at least EUR 10,000 for the first academic year of a course longer than eight months and equivalent access for later years. It also says the plan cannot rely on casual employment. The table repeats that baseline for the whole published course length so the final total is not misleadingly presented as a one-year budget.

The EUR 300 annual insurance line is a planning allowance, not a CCT charge. Replace it with an actual policy quote that meets immigration requirements. The EUR 300 registration line is also an allowance for each planned academic year; a student’s permission and renewal history determines the actual number of payments.

The current visa-fee page lists EUR 60 for a single-entry application. Visa service costs, document certification, police or medical evidence, travel to a visa centre and courier charges can add more. None is assigned a made-up number here because the amount depends on the applicant and submission route.

Housing is the largest unresolved variable. The immigration floor is evidence of available funds, not a Dublin rent forecast. A separate housing budget needs temporary accommodation, a security deposit, utility setup, local transport and the period before long-term housing is secured.

Currency movement can also change the rupee requirement. A five percent weakening of the rupee against the euro would add five percent to the INR figure even if every published euro charge stayed fixed. A euro-based funding plan with a separate exchange buffer is more robust than treating today’s conversion as a quote.

Irish immigration states the funding principle directly:

“You must show you have sufficient funds to support your stay in Ireland without recourse to public funds, or the reliance on casual employment.”Immigration Service Delivery, student finances

The calculation therefore does not subtract expected wages from living funds or tuition.

Can an Indian applicant meet CCT MSc Data Analytics entry rules?

CCT applies a course-specific qualification, subject and experience test, detailed below. The current CCT English table places the award in its Level 9 band at IELTS 6.5. Indian qualifications require an individual level and subject assessment; no GRE, GMAT or SAT condition is published.

RequirementPublished ruleWhat you do
Academic route for MSc Data Analytics (India)an NFQ Level 8 award in ICT, computing, business, science, engineering or a cognate area, or a Level 8 award plus relevant analytics experience or professional certificationPresent the award and grading context against the MSc Data Analytics route
Programme preparation (India)Level 8 evidence of algebra, spreadsheet formulas and database work; a mandatory Python bootcamp applies unless CCT grants an exemptionEvidence algebra, spreadsheet formulas, relational data work, statistics and analytical projects
English at Level 9 (India)IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 120 to 129 or TOEFL iBT 81 to 90Keep the result valid through the MSc Data Analytics commencement date
MSc Data Analytics evidence bundle (India)passport, complete education records, CV, statement and proof of algebra, spreadsheet formulas, relational data work, statistics and analytical projectsPair official translations with each non-English original

For India, QQI NARIC maps a bachelor degree of four years or more to NFQ Level 8, while its typical three-year general BA, BSc, BCom, BBA and BCA statement maps to Level 7. Those are general comparisons; CCT still decides the award level, subject match and any RPL case.

For an Indian file, the Irish award level and the quantitative content need separate evidence. QQI NARIC compares a four-year Indian bachelor degree with NFQ Level 8, while a typical three-year general BA, BSc, BCom, BBA or BCA is compared with Level 7. CCT makes the final decision and can assess a non-standard route, but the public criteria do not promise that a Level 7 comparison will be waived.

The subject test reaches beyond a degree label. CCT asks for Level 8 evidence of algebra, spreadsheet formula use and database knowledge. Transcript pages showing statistics, mathematics, database design, econometrics or quantitative research are stronger than a statement that the applicant has used Excel. Projects can clarify data cleaning, schema design, analysis and interpretation where module names are vague.

Prior programming is not essential, but the Python induction bootcamp is mandatory unless CCT grants an exemption requested at least two weeks before commencement. That is different from a beginner-computing promise. The current hardware note calls for Windows 10 or 11, 16 GB RAM, a modern processor, dedicated graphics and substantial storage, and says Apple M1 or M2 devices are unsuitable for required software.

For this NFQ Level 9, 90 ECTS award, the live CCT table gives IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 120 to 129 and TOEFL iBT 81 to 90. CCT may also verify English through its own test and admissions interview. No GRE, GMAT or SAT condition is published for this programme.

CCT states the English recency rule directly:

“The College will not consider any English Language test score, which is older than two years at the commencement of the CCT programme.”CCT College Dublin, English language requirements

The MSc Data Analytics application calendar therefore has to keep the result valid through commencement.

Four checks before an Indian applicant pays

  1. Award equivalence and subject fit are separate

CCT decides whether an Indian qualification reaches the required Irish level. It then checks the course-specific subjects, skills or experience. Recognition of the institution alone does not complete both assessments.

  2. Use the current English table

Directory pages can retain older IELTS, TOEFL or Duolingo scores. Use CCT’s live international table and any stricter condition in the offer. A score range is not permission to submit the bottom number for a different award level.

  3. RPL needs evidence

Where Recognition of Prior Learning is available, employment duration alone isn’t enough. A structured CV, employer confirmation, training, work products and reflective evidence should demonstrate learning comparable with the normal award route.

  4. A visible form does not prove a seat

A general application or enquiry form can remain online when a full-time cohort is full, under review or awaiting dates. A written offer naming the start and mode is the safer basis for payment.

How should an Indian student apply for CCT MSc Data Analytics?

Use the CCT direct-application route and select the exact full-time programme. CCT accepts direct applications on a rolling basis but does not publish a fixed full-time closing date. For MSc Data Analytics, the live status reads September 2026 listed; live availability unconfirmed; written availability evidence belongs before payment or visa work.

Course fit, current English and documents, written intake confirmation, direct CCT application, offer and invoice, then Irish long-stay study visa

02Complete English evidence45 daysAllow preparation, booking, results and a retake margin.
03Prepare the application file14 daysCollect passport, awards, transcripts, CV, statement and translations.
04Confirm the full-time intake7 daysObtain the start date, seat status and closing date in writing.
05Submit through CCT2 daysChoose the exact programme and retain the application receipt.
06Check the offer and invoice14 daysResolve conditions, award, mode, tuition, payment dates and refunds.
07Prepare the Irish study visa60 daysUse the final offer, payment, finance, insurance and study-plan evidence.

The allowances are preparation estimates, not deadlines or processing times published by CCT College Dublin. Start dates remain unconfirmed.

The exact course page is the starting source because CCT lists different study modes on some awards. The application and eventual offer must say full-time and identify MSc Data Analytics. A part-time or blended timetable should not be assumed to satisfy the same immigration purpose.

The core file should be ready before the form is used. CCT lists school or university qualifications and transcripts, a current CV, passport identification, a personal statement and English evidence. Official translations belong beside the original documents, and the grading scale needs to be easy to interpret.

CCT currently labels the MSc Data Analytics start as September 2026 listed; live availability unconfirmed. Its application page says:

“Please contact us directly to obtain application deadlines for our full-time programmes coming up to the following starting intake.”CCT College Dublin, application process

This is why the planner gives a sequence rather than inventing a date.

The written offer is the controlling record for admission conditions, full-time mode, start date, the exact QQI award, tuition, any deposit, later instalments and refund terms. Any mismatch with the public page needs a written resolution before a transfer is made.

After an unconditional offer and the required payment evidence, use the Irish long-stay study-visa instructions. The visa decision is separate from admission. Finance history, the reason for the course, education gaps, insurance and supporting documents all need to be internally consistent.

Immigration Service Delivery gives about eight weeks as the study-visa processing indication after documents are received, while complex cases can take longer. That interval belongs after admission and fee evidence in the calendar, not inside the academic application estimate.

A rolling process is not an unlimited process. A cohort can close when filled, and late admission can leave too little time for payment, housing and visa work. Applying early improves planning room but does not guarantee a place or decision date.

What jobs and work rights can follow CCT MSc Data Analytics?

The curriculum supports directions in data analysis, business intelligence, data visualisation, junior machine-learning work and analytics consulting. CCT does not publish an audited course placement rate, salary distribution or named recruiter outcome for this award. Ireland’s graduate programme can provide 12 plus possible 12 months after an eligible award, but it guarantees neither a job nor sponsorship.

Course content and national work rights provide context. They don't predict an individual's placement, salary, occupation classification or employment-permit result.

Programming, statistics, data preparation and visualisation form the clearest base for analyst and business-intelligence work. Machine Learning for Data Analysis can support junior modelling tasks, while Big Data Storage and Processing adds infrastructure context. None of those module titles proves that a graduate meets a particular employer’s Python, SQL, cloud or production-experience test.

The 30 ECTS Data Analytics Project is the strongest portfolio opportunity in the award. A narrowly framed problem, documented data provenance, reproducible analysis, appropriate validation and a clear explanation of limitations can provide interview evidence. CCT describes an applied project, not a guaranteed company placement, paid internship or employer-sponsored dataset.

CCT publishes one named analytics graduate anecdote but no defined-cohort placement rate, salary distribution, completion rate or audited recruiter list. The course was revalidated under PG26650 from September 2026, so long-term outcomes for the current validation are not yet available. The honest employment case rests on curriculum-to-role alignment and the applicant’s demonstrable work, not an invented percentage.

The Higher Education Authority Graduate Outcomes research provides national context, not a CCT MSc Data Analytics result. Mixing institutions, disciplines and prior-experience levels would create a false course percentage, so this page does not relabel a national figure as programme placement.

A qualifying Level 9 graduate can receive 12 plus possible 12 months under the Irish graduate programme. That is job-search permission, not a promised employer. The Critical Skills Occupations List then applies to the offered occupation, duties, salary and employer conditions rather than automatically to MSc Data Analytics.

Who is CCT MSc Data Analytics for, and who should look elsewhere?

The strongest fit today meets the academic route, proves the programme-specific preparation below, and has a defined role target and independently viable budget. The weakest fit expects admission, an internship or Irish employment to follow automatically from the course title.

VerdictYour backgroundWhy
Strong fitQuantitative or computing graduate with database evidenceThe file can show the algebra, spreadsheet, database and analytical preparation CCT names.
Needs evidenceBusiness graduate with applied analytics workAdmission may be possible, but the evidence must go beyond dashboard use and demonstrate quantitative readiness.
Do not shortlistComplete beginner seeking a gentle computing conversionCCT says the course is not designed to teach basic computer literacy and expects technical foundations before classes.

The clearest positive profile is quantitative or computing graduate with database evidence. The file can show the algebra, spreadsheet, database and analytical preparation CCT names. That applicant can enter with an evidence plan rather than spending the first term discovering a missing foundation.

The uncertain profile is business graduate with applied analytics work. Admission may be possible, but the evidence must go beyond dashboard use and demonstrate quantitative readiness. The right response is to compare transcript and work evidence with every module, then ask admissions a narrow written question about the unresolved point.

The poor-fit profile is complete beginner seeking a gentle computing conversion. CCT says the course is not designed to teach basic computer literacy and expects technical foundations before classes. Choosing another route in that situation is a course-fit decision, not a judgement about academic ability.

Cost fit deserves its own test. This 1-year plan includes tuition, annual living provision and stated immigration allowances but leaves out flights and housing deposits. Dependence on immediate casual work, an unconfirmed scholarship or a future graduate salary makes it financially fragile.

Availability can decide the shortlist before preference does. The live catalogue does not provide enough certainty to treat a future seat as secured. A second eligible programme should remain active until the written offer names the full-time place, especially where closure or an unconfirmed next date is stated.

Applicants choosing between this MSc and CCT’s broad Computing MSc should compare the centre of gravity. Data Analytics devotes named credits to statistical and machine-learning work; Computing spreads credits across software, networks, architecture, blockchain and embedded systems. A role target based on analysis or modelling makes the former easier to justify, while broad systems ambitions point elsewhere.

What will you study in CCT MSc Data Analytics?

The published curriculum totals 90 ECTS. It shows how the award moves from taught or staged work into applied assessment. Every published credit-bearing module is retained below where CCT gives individual credits; stage summaries are used only when the public page does not assign module-level values.

The note “Taught module, continuous assessment” applies to 5 components in this table.

  • Complete the published NFQ Level 9, 90 ECTS structure for the named award
  • Use the full-time timetable and module descriptors issued for the admitted intake
  • Treat projects, guest input and industry-initiated topics as academic activity unless a placement is guaranteed in writing

The table contains 8 published credit-bearing rows, beginning with Programming for Data Analytics and ending with Data Analytics Project. Their arithmetic reaches 90 ECTS, so the curriculum can be checked without filling a gap with a fictional module.

Every available module-level ECTS value is retained. A stage total is used only when official public material does not assign credits further, and its note preserves the complete subject group rather than inventing a split.

Assessment method matters as much as module title. Continuous assignments, practical work, group assessment, examination and capstone research produce different weekly demands. The current handbook is the source for the admitted cohort’s assessment mix and timetable because delivery details can change without altering the award name.

Assessment choices can support a defined job direction when academic rules permit work to be shown. The final Data Analytics Project remains different from an employer placement and should be described accurately on a CV.

The linked QQI programme record supplies the independent award check. Its programme identifier and the CCT offer should be retained together, particularly when a predecessor validation or refreshed curriculum exists.

Should an Indian student shortlist CCT MSc Data Analytics?

Shortlist it when your previous education can satisfy the exact academic and readiness rules and the curriculum matches a defined role. It is a poor shortlist choice when only the tuition headline looks affordable: the complete EUR 24,660 plan, intake status and absent placement guarantee materially change the decision.

The shortlist case rests on evidence of algebra, spreadsheet formulas, relational data work, statistics and analytical projects. Those foundations determine whether the published sequence is a credible next academic step. The course is coherent for that profile, but its title can't replace current availability, full funding or demonstrable preparation.

The decisive caution is specific. CCT's page still carries stale revalidation wording even though QQI has approved PG26650 for 2026 to 2031, and the programme is not designed as a basic computer-literacy conversion course. The course page also doesn't publish a guaranteed internship, programme salary distribution or audited placement percentage. Those omissions don't prove poor outcomes, but they prevent a responsible page from converting course marketing into a personal return forecast.

Frequently asked questions

Is CCT MSc Data Analytics full-time?

Yes. This guide covers only the current 12 months full-time route at CCT College Dublin. The award is NFQ Level 9, 90 ECTS. CCT may also advertise another attendance mode for some courses, but its timetable, fee status and immigration suitability must not be mixed with the full-time offer.

What is the fee for CCT MSc Data Analytics?

CCT's current fee page gives EUR 14,000 for the full-time programme as its current non-EU offshore MSc guideline. That is guidance rather than a personalised invoice. The written offer should state the exact tuition, payment dates, refund terms and any deposit before money is transferred.

What is the total cost of CCT MSc Data Analytics for an Indian student?

The full-programme plan is EUR 24,660, about INR 27.06 lakh, using tuition, EUR 10,000 per academic year for living-funds planning, annual insurance and registration allowances, and a EUR 60 visa. Flights, accommodation deposits, exchange spreads and spending above the immigration baseline remain outside this estimate.

What academic qualification is needed for CCT MSc Data Analytics?

A qualification comparable with Irish NFQ Level 8 is the normal base, followed by this course's field, skill and experience rules. An Indian award is not accepted from its title alone. Supply the complete certificate, transcript, grading information and relevant subject or experience evidence. CCT assesses the award level and programme preparation together; no universal Indian percentage is published.

What English score is needed for CCT MSc Data Analytics?

CCT's current international table places this programme at IELTS 6.5 overall. It also lists accepted TOEFL, Duolingo and other score bands. Results generally need to be less than two years old. Use the current table and written offer because directory pages often repeat older, lower scores.

When is the application deadline for CCT MSc Data Analytics?

The current programme status is September 2026 listed; live availability unconfirmed. CCT says direct applications are rolling but asks full-time applicants to contact the college for the actual closing date. A visible form is not proof that seats remain. Written CCT confirmation should settle the intake, availability and final date.

Does CCT MSc Data Analytics include an internship?

CCT does not publish a guaranteed internship in the credit structure shown here. Applied projects, case studies, guest input or an industry-initiated topic are academic experiences, not a promise of paid work or an employer host. Ask for the current handbook if placement experience is essential to your decision.

Can CCT MSc Data Analytics lead to work in Ireland?

The curriculum supports the role families listed in this guide, but CCT publishes no audited placement rate or salary distribution for the course. A qualifying Level 9 graduate may receive 12 months and, if the renewal conditions are met, another 12 months under Ireland's graduate programme. That permission provides job-search time, not employment, sponsorship or a Critical Skills permit.
