A biology degree should show where quantitative work, data analysis or programming begins. A computer-science degree should show genuine biological and chemical preparation rather than only a general interest in health technology.

Comparable degrees are judged through content. A biotechnology applicant may have the biology needed but too little computing, while a data-science applicant may have strong methods but inadequate biology, biochemistry and chemistry.

APS confirms the Indian credentials and uni-assist processes the foreign application. The examination board still owns the academic decision, including whether a deficiency is small enough for exceptional conditional admission.
