What is TUS Artificial Intelligence for Business?

TUS MSc Artificial Intelligence for Business is a one-year, 90-ECTS Level 9 course for graduates with substantial quantitative study. Non-EU tuition is EUR 17,500 for 2026/27, about INR 19.49 lakh. A one-year plan using current Athlone and immigration figures is about INR 37.99 lakh.

The course combines mathematics, machine learning, data engineering, business cases, data mining, deep learning, AI law and ethics, and a 30 ECTS research project. September 2026 is closed. September 2027 programme availability, fee and deadline remain unpublished even though the global cycle opens on 1 October 2026.

How much does TUS AI for Business cost?

The one-year planning total is EUR 34,122, about INR 37.99 lakh. It includes EUR 17,500 tuition, twelve months of Athlone living and current direct-application, visa and registration charges. Insurance, flights and refundable housing deposits remain outside it. Tuition accounts for EUR 17,500.

The EUR 1,000 place deposit and immigration's EUR 6,000 tuition condition are inside tuition. This programme is not named on TUS's separate high-demand EUR 6,000 list. Converted at EUR 1 = INR 111.3475, the ECB reference rate on 26 August 2026. Provider rates differ. Insurance, flights and refundable housing deposits are excluded.

TUS estimates average Athlone living at EUR 1,351 monthly, of which accommodation is estimated at EUR 556 to EUR 650. Private insurance is separately estimated at EUR 150 to EUR 500 yearly and is excluded because the actual premium depends on the policy.

A normal offer asks for EUR 1,000 within 21 days and TUS says a full offer needs at least 60 percent of tuition paid. The offer letter controls current dates. This course mustn’t inherit the high-demand term from Software Design with Artificial Intelligence.

Postgraduate merit awards may reach EUR 4,000, subject to competitive TUS Global assessment. Irish immigration separately requires access to at least EUR 10,000 for living support. That is a funds test, not an added cost row or a promise that the published budget will fit every household.

Can an Indian applicant meet TUS AI for Business entry rules?

Entry requires an NFQ Level 8 equivalent honours degree with at least 30 ECTS in numerate subjects and master’s-level English. TUS publishes no grade class beyond the India table, no GRE or GMAT, and no mandatory interview or work-experience floor.

A BTech or BE applicant needs at least 60 percent for IT or Analytics under the India table, while a BCA applicant needs 65 percent. A BBA or BCom row under Other Disciplines doesn’t automatically clear this numerate programme.

The current English table requires IELTS 6.5 with no band below 6.0. The published Duolingo, TOEFL iBT and PTE alternatives carry component conditions and must be checked as complete profiles.

No experience floor is published, but lack of prior programming can still create a fit problem because the capstone explicitly expects programming and AI-model use. Eligibility and readiness are separate questions.

1. Business in the title does not remove mathematics

   The course contains mathematics, machine learning, data engineering and deep learning. A management degree with no quantitative depth can fail even when its title matches the programme’s business framing.

2. Thirty ECTS must be evidenced, not estimated

   Map every relevant module, local credit value and syllabus. Ask TUS how it converts the home university’s credit system rather than inventing an ECTS multiplier.

3. The award title varies across TUS documents

   The live page says Artificial Intelligence for Business. The validation report and international fee table say Applied Artificial Intelligence for Business. Confirm how the final offer and award documents will name the same programme.

How should an Indian applicant plan the TUS AI application?

September 2026 is closed and September 2027 availability is unpublished. The 1 October 2026 catalogue opening is a course-availability check, not a submission deadline. Also confirm that the 30-ECTS numerate-entry rule, EUR 17,500 fee and final project structure remain unchanged.

A direct applicant selects one course in the TUS international portal, uploads identity, academic, English, CV and reference evidence, and pays EUR 50. TUS says an academic update normally takes about two weeks.

This date opens a catalogue check, not an intake countdown. TUS has not published the September 2027 deadline for this programme. The evidence checklist becomes a submission plan only when the new listing supplies the course name, fee and closing date.

The allowances are Nbyula planning estimates, not processing times published by Technological University of the Shannon.

The quantitative map should distinguish mathematics, statistics, programming, databases and finance methods from descriptive business modules. This is the evidence most likely to decide whether a business graduate clears the 30 ECTS rule.

TUS permits one course under one portal profile. The similarly named Software Design with Artificial Intelligence route is a different choice, with different entry logic, a high-demand payment term and a different curriculum.

The offer letter controls current payment dates. The old 1 June 2026 visa-applicant closing date proves the prior cycle is over and can’t be reused as the September 2027 deadline.

What jobs can follow TUS AI for Business?

TUS names six prospective roles, from data analyst to AI sales strategist, but publishes no cohort outcome, employer list, salary or placement rate. The most credible reading is a technically substantial route into junior data, business intelligence or AI-facing product work, with results depending heavily on prior skills and portfolio.

Critical Skills treatment belongs to the actual specialised job and duties. A generic analyst, sales or product title is not automatically eligible.

The curriculum supports junior data analyst, business intelligence analyst, data engineer, entry-level data scientist, AI-focused product analyst and technical pre-sales applications. A candidate still needs demonstrable code, models and business interpretation rather than relying on the award title.

SOLAS finds demand for AI, data-science and IT-analyst skills across IT and non-IT work. It also says some data-scientist demand involves small numbers. Sector median earnings cannot be used as a new graduate salary for this programme.

The March 2024 panel approved the award but asked TUS to expand employability information and clarify prerequisites and project outputs. That explains why a mature outcome series is absent and reinforces the need to judge the curriculum rather than marketing role names.

No confirmed exact-programme graduate account was found. One applicant thread discusses Athlone and small classes, but no respondent establishes the course’s teaching quality, workload or employment result.

Who is TUS AI for Business for, and who should avoid it?

The strongest fit is a computing, engineering, quantitative finance or accounting graduate who can prove 30 ECTS of numerate study and wants business-facing AI. The weakest fit is a general management graduate expecting a low-code conversion or an internship-led programme.

The course is suitable for someone willing to move between mathematical foundations and business use cases. A reader who wants strategy without coding should compare management-led programmes because this curriculum names deep learning and data engineering directly.

The 30 ECTS project demands both a substantial dissertation and applied programming. Students who prefer several smaller taught modules over a long independent capstone should notice that one-third of the award sits in the final project.

A fresher can be eligible, since no work-experience floor is published. They will still compete for technical roles against applicants with stronger software portfolios and prior industry evidence.

What does the 90-ECTS TUS AI for Business curriculum contain?

TUS publishes nine modules across three trimesters, and the credits reconcile to 90 ECTS. The first two trimesters establish mathematics, models, data engineering, business intelligence, deep learning, ethics and research methods. Should an Indian applicant shortlist TUS AI for Business?

Shortlist it when your transcript proves at least 30 ECTS in numerate subjects and you want technical AI applied to business problems. The credit test decides fit more sharply than the business wording in the title. There is no published internship route.

The distinctive value is a full progression from mathematics and machine learning into data engineering, deep learning, governance and a large applied project. The tradeoff is a demanding quantitative and programming load compressed into three trimesters, with the final third centred on independent research and a 20,000-word dissertation.

The transcript and outcome evidence impose three firm limits. A non-technical business degree can fail the 30 ECTS content test. TUS promises no internship or employer project. The programme was validated only in 2024 and has no published graduate cohort, placement rate, salary or named employer outcome from which to judge early career return.
