TUS MSc Software Design with Artificial Intelligence is a one-year, 90-ECTS Level 9 degree for software graduates moving into machine learning. Non-EU tuition for 2026/27 is EUR 17,500, about INR 19.49 lakh. A twelve-month plan including Athlone living and current application and immigration charges is about INR 37.99 lakh.

Study begins with software foundations, advances through data and model development, and ends with a team project plus a dissertation or placement choice. September 2026 is closed. The next programme cycle still lacks three essentials: confirmation that this MSc returns, its tuition and its closing date.

How much does the TUS Artificial Intelligence master's cost?

The one-year planning total is EUR 34,122, about INR 37.99 lakh. It combines EUR 17,500 non-EU tuition, twelve months of TUS‘s Athlone living estimate and current application, visa and registration charges. Insurance, flights and refundable housing deposits remain outside the total.

The EUR 6,000 high-demand payment and immigration's EUR 6,000 tuition-payment condition sit inside tuition. They are cash-flow milestones, not extra costs. Converted at EUR 1 = INR 111.3475, the ECB reference rate on 26 August 2026. Payment-provider rates differ. Insurance, flights and refundable housing deposits are excluded.

TUS estimates average Athlone living costs at about EUR 1,351 a month. This produces EUR 16,212 across twelve months. Accommodation is estimated at EUR 556 to EUR 650 monthly, so an actual housing contract can move the family budget above or below the planning line.

Postgraduate scholarships can reach EUR 4,000 under the ordinary combined cap, but TUS Global assesses them competitively during admission. The table therefore uses full tuition. An award should reduce an already affordable plan rather than make an unaffordable payment schedule appear workable.

   The India table lists a three-year BCA at 65 percent for IT, while the programme asks for a four-year honours degree. TUS says international files are reviewed case by case. Obtain written confirmation before paying the direct-application charge.

2. Software preparation matters more than an AI label

   The course begins with object-oriented programming and applied scripting before advanced machine learning. A mathematics, electronics or business degree without assessed software development does not automatically become an equivalent qualification.

3. The English overall score has component floors

   The central 2026/27 table adds no IELTS band below 6.0. Its Duolingo, TOEFL and PTE alternatives also carry component conditions, so an overall-only score can still fail.

How should an Indian applicant plan the TUS Artificial Intelligence application?

September 2026 is closed and September 2027 programme availability is unpublished. The planner works backwards from 1 October 2026, when TUS says its next global application cycle opens. It prepares the technical, academic and English evidence but does not assume that this exact MSc will be listed.

One course is selected in the TUS international portal. A direct applicant uploads identity, academic, English, CV, statement and reference evidence and pays EUR 50. An approved TUS agent uses its own route. TUS publishes an indicative decision update of about two weeks.

National ICT evidence and one current-student account are context, not measured outcomes for this MSc.

The team project can produce evidence of model development, evaluation and communication around an authentic industry problem. The final placement option may add workplace experience, but TUS does not publish how places are allocated, how many students receive one or which employers participate.

SOLAS records 54,800 programmers and software developers in 2024 and identifies AI skills in employer shortages. The bulletin also says software-development adverts have declined and automation may reduce entry-level demand. That mixed national evidence is more useful than the course page’s expired 2025 projection.

CSO reports EUR 765 median weekly earnings for substantially employed 2022 ICT graduates in their first year after graduation. This spans institutions, levels and ICT subjects. It is not a TUS AI salary and should not be used to forecast an individual return.

An eligible Level 9 graduate can receive Stamp 1G for twelve months and may obtain another twelve months after showing appropriate job-search steps. A later Critical Skills permit depends on the job’s duties, classification, salary, employer and two-year offer.

TUS profiles one current international student on this exact MSc, who describes lecturer and career support. That is useful experience evidence but not proof of a placement, employment result or salary. No three-account independent pattern was found.

The one-year workload and final research or placement choice reward independent learning. Applicants who need extensive classroom contact, a guaranteed employer handover or a confirmed 2027 start should keep the course on a watchlist rather than commit funds.

What does the TUS Software Design with AI curriculum contain?
